Warehouses and export areas (MAD) and (MAE) are approved premises where goods are admitted, stored, and presented for customs clearance under customs supervision.
Establishment and operation conditions
Regime defined by the general specifications approved by the Decree of the Minister of Finance of 2 September 2002. Open to any natural or legal person holding a professional card.
Operating procedures
For the admission of goods, the operator must file a summary declaration at the nearest regional customs office (assigned office) within one working day (excluding Sundays and public holidays) from the arrival of the goods.
