Customs training
Training of customs second lieutenants
The candidate admitted to the customs sub-lieutenant competition will undergo an initial training cycle of 12 months dedicated to general military and customs training, as well as practical internships within the services of the General Directorate of Customs.
During their studies, student officers wear the customs uniform and are subject to a boarding regime. Upon completion of training, the student officer presents a final year thesis.
This training cycle is validated by the awarding of a customs studies diploma.
Training of customs sergeants
The candidate admitted to the customs sergeant competition will undergo an initial training cycle of 9 months dedicated to general military (3 months) and customs training. During the study period, the student sergeants wear the customs uniform and are subject to a boarding regime.
This training cycle is validated by the awarding of a specialty diploma.
Training of customs corporals-adjoints
The admitted candidate is appointed to the grade ofCorporalcustoms, it follows an initial training cycle, provided that he commits to serving in the customs services for a minimum period of ten years and this, in addition to the years of study and training.
The 6-month study period is dedicated to general military (3 months) and customs training. During the study period, the cadet corporals wear the customs uniform and are subject to a boarding regime.

Continuing education and retraining
The Directorate General of Customs is preparing the annual continuous training plan based on the recommendations of the Presidency of the Government circular, defining the general guidelines for training in public administrations and other specificities related to the nature of customs professions and the tasks of its personnel. In order to ensure good targeting of participants and to guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing customs actions and activities.
