Processing Manager
The procedures described below are implemented by Tunisian Customs, Ministry of Finance.

What the portal records
The portal only records what is necessary for the procedures it offers.
- Citizen spaceemail address, name, and account verification status. The password is never stored in plain text: only a cryptographic hash is.
- Service requeststhe answers you enter in the relevant form, the filing date, the progress status and the history of status changes. Depending on the service, these answers may include a national identity card or passport number.
- Assistancethe email address, subject and exchanged messages.
- Administrative journalthe actions of officers on data contents and exports, so that they can be justified.
- SecurityThe connection's IP address is kept briefly, in memory only, to limit the number of sending and connection attempts.
Purposes
To process submitted requests, allow their author to track their progress, respond to assistance requests, inform the public, and protect the service against abusive use. No data is used for prospecting purposes.
Legal framework
The protection of personal data is governed in Tunisia by Organic Law n° 2004-63 of 27 July 2004, and control is ensured by the National Data Protection Authority.

Retention period
No retention period has been set to date for service requests and assistance files.It is currently being defined and will be indicated on this page as soon as it is set.
This precision is given as is rather than replaced by an indicative duration: an announced but not applied duration does not correctly inform anyone.
Recipients
Requests are accessible only to Customs officers authorized to process them. The portal does not transmit any data to a third party for commercial purposes and does not use any audience measurement services.
Connection tokens and local storage
This portal does not useno advertising tracker or audience measurement toolIt retains only:
- a session cookie, deposited when you log into the citizen area, inaccessible to page scripts and deleted upon logout;
- your preferred theme, light or dark, for local browser storage;
- the list of ads you have closed, so as not to display them again.
The videos are embedded from the YouTube domain without a witness. Their playback is subject to this service's rules.
Your rights
You have a right of access to the data concerning you, to rectification of inaccurate data, and to object under the conditions provided by law. Requests already submitted cannot be modified after sending: a correction must be requested from the instructing department, which keeps a record of it.

Security
Exchanges with the portal are encrypted. Passwords are stored as fingerprints, connection and submission attempts are limited, and access to requests is restricted to authorized agents. Every data export is logged.
