Temporary importation of pleasure vessels
Foreign pleasure vessels owned by natural persons who habitually reside outside the Tunisian customs territory (more than six months a year abroad) can benefit from the temporary importation regime.
Entry formalities
Any vessel arriving from abroad by sea can only dock in a port equipped with a customs office. Upon entry, the owner must complete the formalities:
- The entry declaration
- The pleasure manifest
- Certificate of Free Practice
Departure formalities
Before any departure abroad, an exit declaration must be made at the customs office of the port of departure, with presentation of the list of passengers, onboard provisions and the free practice permit.
