Travelling with your pets
For your pets, ahealth certificateissued by the competent authorities is required at the border. It is advised that you carry the animal's booklet.
Dog breeds prohibited from import
The importation of dangerous dogs belonging to the following breeds is prohibited:
- Pit-bull
- Rottweiler
- Tosa
- Mastiff (Boerbull)
Livestock and animal products
Livestock animals: health certificate, transport certificate, pedigree and proforma invoice. Animal products: health certificate, certificate of origin and technical data sheet.
